EPL: Guardiola snubs Haaland, names most complete striker in football
Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has hailed Lionel Messi as the most complete forward he has ever seen.
Guardiola was speaking to the media after their 4-1 win over Ipswich Town on Saturday.
City took all three points, with Erling Haaland scoring his 10th hat-trick for the club.
But Guardiola has said Haaland is not as complete as Messi, who he coached for four years at Barcelona.
When asked if Haaland is the most complete centre-forward we have ever seen in this game, Guardiola replied: “The most complete centre forward ever seen is Lionel Messi.”
