EPL: He’s quick, dribbles me three times – Arsenal’s White names toughest player he ever faced
Arsenal defender, Ben White, has named Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford as the toughest opponent he has faced in his career.
White has played across the English Pyramid, featuring for Leeds United, Newport County, Peterborough United, Brighton and now Arsenal.
Speaking with Sky Sports, the England defender said Rashford is quick, adding that he dribbled him three times and scored.
“One of them, yeah. When I was at Brighton, he went past me three times, chopped me three times and then scored,” White said when explaining his decision to pick Rashford as one of the toughest player he has faces.
“That was obviously on Twitter everywhere, and I still get it today. Obviously an amazing player.”
He added, “When you play against him, you don’t realise how quick and strong he is. He is obviously technically really good as well.”
