2 S'poreans land on Forbes Asia's Power Businesswomen 2024 list
These are Tan Su Shan and Serena Teo Joo Ling.
Two Singaporeans have been recognised in Forbes Asia’s Power Businesswomen 2024 list for being the first women to hold their respective roles within their companies.
Tan Su Shan is deputy CEO and CEO-designate of DBS Group. Prior to her roles, she led DBS’ consumer banking and wealth management businesses for nearly ten years. DBS recently reported a $10.3b profit, marking a 26% increase from the previous year, a performance benchmark that Tan will work to maintain.
Serena Teo Joo Ling, CEO of CapitaLand Ascott Trust since July 2022, joined the real estate sector after over a decade with the Singapore Economic Development Board. CapitaLand Ascott Trust manages $8.5b in assets across 102 properties in 16 countries.
