Volleyball is played on a court that is 18 meters long and 9 meters wide. The net is 2.43 meters high for men and 2.24 meters high for women. Each team has six players on the court at a time, and the objective is to score points by hitting the ball over the net and onto the opponent's side of the court. The game is won by the team that scores 25 points first, with a two-point advantage. If the game is tied at 24-24, play continues until one team has a two-point advantage.
